Emperor Hadrian, or 'Graeculus' (Greekling) in his youth, left behind an enduring legacy due to his building projects. His love for Greece and Greek literature made him a true philhellenic at heart, and he substantially contributed to the rebuilding of Athens including the completion of the Temple of Zeus. There stands today the marvelous Arch of Hadrian in his honor. Just minutes away from our apartment, we invite our friends from all over the world to come and taste just a little of the “Greekness” that the emperor fell in love with.
Fit for two or four guests, Apartment Hadrian has a queen size bed in one bedroom and two single beds in the second bedroom. Flat-screen TVs, closets, and ACs found in both rooms. The apartment includes a bathroom with shower and a common area with a kitchen, which is fully equipped with all electrical appliances to make your stay more comfortable.
There is also a small balcony in one bedroom overlooking Plaka's main pedestrian street, with a view to the Acropolis itself. This apartment is perfectly located for eager travelers that want to discover everything, with not much time available.

At the foot of the Acropolis, it is a tourist as well as a local favorite! Even though it is commercialized, filled with jewelry and souvenir shops as well as cafes, it still gives off a village feel from a different era. Strolling around in Plaka you a feeling of modernity as well as a reluctancy in letting go of the past. New and old, pale and colorful, charming, and uninviting are few on the contradictions that make Athens a city of vibrant character. Focusing on the journey, rather than the outcome, Greeks will show you a good time.
